International Inclusion Index Study

Kirwan Institute recently completed a study to create an international ‘Inclusion Index’. This study ranks countries of the world making strides toward reduction of racial and ethnic injustice by correlating available indices of inclusion. Available international datasets are used to study the existing group composition, structure of the society, historical trends and their relationship to development. The Kirwan Institute, through this study, seeks to contribute to ongoing efforts to assess mechanisms that empower marginalized groups to influence political action and gain equitable access to jobs, education, healthcare, security and other basic services. The final inclusion index report will be available in January of 2008.
