Housing in New Orleans One Year after Katrina: Policy Recommendations for Equitable Rebuilding
The Kirwan Institute collaborated with Opportunity Agenda and the NAACP to assess conditions and provide policy recommendations regard¬ing the state of housing in New Orleans one year after Hurricane Katrina. The Institute and its partners utilized this research to raise public aware¬ness of the housing need in the region and to assist in reforming policy that is exacerbating the Gulf Coast’s housing crisis.
