Mikyung works as a Research and Technical Associate for the institute. She develops and maintains the institute’s web sites, assists with technical issues and supports with the institute’s research in the areas of education and technology. She worked as a network manager for six years in South Korea before coming to the U.S. She received her Ph. D. in Educational Technology and M.A. in Foreign and Second Language Education, both from The Ohio State University, in 2005 and 1999. In 1990, she earned her B.S. in Computer Science and Statistics from South Korea.
Research Interests: Digital Inequality, Technology for Social Inclusion with emphasis on educational opportunity
