Jason is a senior researcher at the Kirwan Institute. He manages the GIS/Housing and regional policy programs of the institute. His work involves advocacy and policy research on issues related to affordable housing, community development, neighborhood revitalization, regional equity and GIS. Prior to working for the Kirwan Institute, Jason has worked in planning and community development for OSU Extension and was a regional transportation and land use planner in Michigan. He has also worked in a planning/research capacity for city and state government agencies. Jason was certified AICP by the American Institute of Certified Planners in 2003. He received a Master’s degree in City and Regional planning from The Ohio State University in 2001. In 1999, he received a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional planning from Miami University.
